There are 876 people in this country who earn at least $20,000,000 a year. Two of them are running for President this year. While this year’s election is as important to us as the election of Abraham Lincoln in 1860 – neither of them are Lincoln.

While Bernie Sanders is not William Lloyd Garrison, Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman or William Lloyd Still to name a few leaders of the Abolition Movement. There were tens of thousands members of that movement.

Today we need to see ourselves as millions of leaders and members of the movement to abolish poverty.
