DOUGLASS DEBS IS BACK.
Our chapter's largest fundraiser and party makes its return after a three year hiatus. Metro Detroit DSA invites you to join us for its return. We'll be reflecting on all the great work we've accomplished this year, and geting excited for what's in store for the year to come! Overall, this will be a night to celebrate solidarity!!
Everything earned from this event will help fund the future of our chapter. This includes the cost of meeting spaces, food, printing educational literature, travel expenses, subscription based services, budgets for campaigns, and more.
Hear from UAW Region 1 Director, LaShawn English, ecosocialist organizer and NYC-DSA member, Stylianos Karolidis, and Michigan District 26 State Representative and teachers union strike leader, Dylan Wegela.
Food will be provided by Carolyn’s Kitchen, and a special silent auction from our working groups and supporters.
We encourage everyone to come in your best looks and, of course, to wear red 🌹
