Our chapter has endorsed two ballot proposals for the upcoming election day on November 8th, 2022. 

A YES vote on the first, Reproductive Freedom For All(RFFA), or Prop 3, repeals the oppressive 1931 law that outlaws abortion and ensures that our ability to choose whether or not we procreate is protected by state law. RFFA not only protects abortion, but also contraception and our reproductive health options. 

The second ballot proposal we are asking comrades to vote YES on is a transit millage that will maintain and expand public transit services. Public transit is a vital service that benefits workers, elders, disabled people and students that need it to get around. Expanding public transit will also help us free ourselves from our fossil fuel dependency, which helps to slow down global warming and the climate chaos it causes.
